Born in Laredo and raised in San Antonio, Chef Gustavo is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. His culinary career spans prestigious hotels, country clubs, and Minute Maid Park during Texas' first World Series. He brings a passion for Texas cuisine, with a specialty in smoked meats and barbecue. Outside the kitchen, he enjoys fishing, kayaking, hiking, and cycling. Gustavo is also committed to giving back, volunteering to feed those in need in Galveston.
